Public Activities

 

We offer a great range of public activity sessions - read more about all our activities here! Half-day public activity sessions - gorge walking, abseiling and ladders, open canoes and raft building - are all priced at £50 per adult, £40 for under 18s. We also offer shorter archery and axe-throwing sessions, priced at £27 per adult and £22 for under 18s. Paddle board taster sessions - the supervised hire of a paddle board for one hour - are £25 per person. All guests staying on site receive a 10% discount on advertised activity sessions.

For summer 2023, we are also ran seashore safari sessions - two hours exploring the life on Lochranza's coast - and guided walks around North Arran - a full day hike taking in all sorts of sites of geological, environmental and human interest.

For groups of six or more, we can arrange alternative times for our sessions.

Guided Walks

We also offer guided Geology / Wildlife / Mountain walks for groups of four people and above - our staff are all trained or fully-qualified Mountain Leaders, have degrees in relevant environmental subjects (Geology, Geography or Biology) and are all very experienced in outdoors education!

Public Trails

Year-round, we also have local geocaching and orienteering routes open to the public, and a mystery trail around the village, for a bit of Lochranza-based entertainment! Drop in past the Centre to pick up the sheets for any of these activities.
