How to get here

'Island time... in no time' - there's a reason VisitArran uses this slogan! Arran is a remarkably accessible island, with the ferry crossing from Ardrossan taking less than an hour, and Ardrossan itself being very well-connected with rail, air and road links.

There's good news in terms of costs for travelling school groups too: CalMac has introduced a 50% discount for school minibuses using the ferry! And remember, all young Scots under the age of 22 can now enjoy free bus travel across the country.
